Allow me to continue my thoughts on trust. God is teaching me so much about trust that it's only right for me to be writing about it! Last time I talked about the Greek concept of trust. Today I'm going to talk about the Hebrew concept...

Isaiah 26:3 says, "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you."

Breaking down this verse is beautiful every step along the way, but I'm going to focus on the word trust.

בטח- [verb] to attach oneself, to confide in, feel safe, be confident, secure

Want perfect peace? CLING TO HIM! I absolutely love that it says to attach oneself. I picture a young child clinging to his parent while the parents arms hold him. In the arms of a parent, the child feels safe, confident, secure. That's really all I have to say today, but I'd like to leave you with this picture... Blessings friends!
