Chris read this verse in church today, and it just really resonated inside of me, particularly concerning India. I thought I'd share!
"My Spirit remains in your midst. Fear not. For thus says the LORD of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the LORD of hosts. The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, declares the LORD of hosts.'" Haggai 2:5-9
This verse just gets me excited. I don't even know if I have anything else to say about it. God is shaking up the nations!! The glory is going to be greater than before! Also, the mention of treasures, silver and gold reminded me of a movie I watched recently. It's a documentary called "Finger of God." The two videos underneath are the first two parts of it. I'm warning you- It is VERY stretching, but try to have an open mind about it all. Why can't God work this way? When it comes down to it, what reason do we have to question? As Chris said today, never trusting what God is doing in other peoples lives only leaves you judgmental and miserable, and I've found that to be so true in my life. That's all for today. Enjoy the videos!
